We take particular pride in making a child’s first visit to the dentist relaxing and easy. Don’t worry if your child (especially a very young child) expresses some anxiety – this is completely normal and our staff is prepared to respond. For the first cleaning appointment you may wish to explain to your child in advance that the dentist will count the teeth, clean them with a special toothbrush, and take pictures of the mouth during this visit. You may also choose to read with your child one of the many age appropriate books available on visiting the dentist.
We ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled appointment. This gives parents a chance to complete a brief health history form. Parents are asked to pay at the time of treatment for the initial appointment. If you have dental insurance, you are responsible for the co-payment portion at the time of future visits, and we will help to file insurance claims on your behalf for the balance. For your convenience, we accept credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
